Healthcare Oscars: l’Azienda Ospedaliera San Giovanni Addolorata won the 2022 award in the Value Based Healthcare category.
The ‘Lean Healthcare e Lifescience Award 2022’, now in its fifth year, attracted 206 competing projects submitted by 92 public and private health and social care organisations. The competition aims to recognise institutions that excel in applying the ‘Lean’ method, which seeks to improve patients’ conditions by eliminating wasted resources and disorganisation in the care pathway.
Accepting the award at the ceremony held at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome were Director General Tiziana Frittelli, Gabriele Manetti, Acting Head of Emergency General Surgery, and Pamela Pellini, RIOD Surgical Pathway Operations Manager.
